We knew what we had to do
When we made someone
As precious and tender as you.
We had to sense your every need
When to sleep and when to feed.
Your safety was our main concern
Protecting you from injury and burn
Complacent we could never be
The word wasn't in our vocabulary
If we blinked or turned an eye
Hurt would strike and you might die
That was something we could never bear
It would be our fault if you were not there
Strapping you in might seem cruel
But we do it out of love not because it is a rule
We do it ourselves so we can take care
Of the people we love and who's love we share.
Tired and wary we will never be
When it comes to protecting thee
We will watch over you day and night
Until you are old enough to take flight
And when you do you will be prepared
Because you will practice the safety we nurtured
When you ride a bike or drive a car
Safety is the most important thing by far
For when you leave you must return
The only way to do is to practice what you have learned
What ties us together is a transparent tether
Weaved out of love and respect for one another
If you die before your time
We failed you and must answer for our crime
Teaching you safety from the cradle
Was a part of teaching you who was unable
To protect yourself and recognize danger
Until you were a teenager
When life is done and you must go
Close your eyes and let go
Your death must be a graceful departure
From a life filled with love and laughter
From Dad and Mom your guardian angels
Who nurtured safety from the cradle
When you have babies you will know
That from a cradle a loving child does grow
While character and honor must abound
Safety will keep the little child around
To love and to hold until such time
As they lay down and shut their eyes one last time.

Our homes are supposed to be our safe havens. You would be amazed at how many accidents occur in the home.

It is a well-known fact that pets add to the quality of the human life. We should therefore, take the time to give our pets the opportunity to live happy and healthy lives as well. For their sake as well as our own.

We believe toy manufacturers should encourage responsible safety habits to our children through the toys they bring to market.

Seat-belts DO SAVE LIVES! Why then, do we not wear them? Interesting facts and figures support the mandatory use of these simple, yet effective, life-saving devices.
