FPSI Instructor Certification - The only way to accelerate the growth of safety in the most neglected industry in the world (from the point of view of safety) is to train the very people who teach fluid power/hydraulics. From time to time, we will offer safety seminars designed especially for instructors. Some of the topics that these seminars cover will include: safety-based service repair and troubleshooting procedures; safety projects for students; reference material selection; proper selection of diagnostic instrumentation; safety products; safety videos and CD's; lock-out and tagout procedures; and others. The estimated time is 3-days, and the estimated cost is $750.00 per student. Students who pass a written exam will carry the FPSI endorsement for safety-based instruction. These seminars will also be offered in-house. Please contact our office for details. Other Fluid Power Safety Seminars offered by the Fluid Power Safety Institute: "The Perfect Circle" - (2 hours) This highly motivational and intensely moving safety presentation was developed by the director of the Fluid Power Safety Institute, Rory McLaren. It is a bold safety message for everyone from the CEO to the janitor. According to Rory McLaren, a generation of parents have failed to cultivate and nurture "safety from the cradle." If his insight is only partially correct, the future American workplace is destined to become a "killing field" that no amount of government intervention will tame. The sobering truth is, he could be right! This presentation is not for the feint of heart!
