The lawful killing of children by parents and guardians continues! -
While we grieve for the thousands of people who die needlessly each year at work, let us not forget the thousands of children who are slaughtered each year because parents and guardians fail to meet their most critical obligation - protect children's lives!
According to Jim Hall, chairman of the National Transportation Board, two serious defects were to blame for the deaths of the 1,300 children under the age of 8 in highway crashes in 1999.
The first was unsafe driving. The second, was the failure of parents and guardians to properly buckle up the majority of those children in cars and trucks.
The result, according to the NTSB's tabulations, is costly. During the 1990's, more than 90,000 children - infants and teenagers - were killed in motor vehicle crashes on U.S. roads.
When a child is placed in a vehicle, a parent or guardian makes the choice to either buckle the child in, or leave them unrestrained.
In addition, the parent or guardian, is very well aware of the consequences should the vehicle be involved in an accident - there is a strong possibility that the child will be killed if "tossed" - or to use the politically correct vernacular "ejected" - from the vehicle.
In my opinion, because the parent or guardian made an educated choice not to restrain the child, knowing full-well the consequences, it is first-degree, pre-meditated murder.
Unfortunately, due to the "tragic" nature of the "murder," the parent or guardian is vindicated, and will thus escape due process for the crime.
