The 26-year old driver of a Jeep who was not wearing a seat belt was ejected when it crashed into another vehicle. He was transported to hospital in critical condition.

A 26-year old Orem woman died Sunday in a three-car collision that occurred Saturday night in Spanish Fork Canyon. She was one of 12 people injured in the accident. She died from head injuries. One of the car's passengers was ejected and landed between the car and the pickup truck involved in the accident.

A Salt Lake County sheriff's deputy was in critical condition Saturday after the motorcycle that he was riding struck a car. He and his wife were both on the motorcycle. Neither rider was wearing a helmet (the deputy passed away from his injuries soon after).

A 71-year old man died in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 15. He lost control of his vehicle and it overturned. The victim was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.

An Iron County sheriff's deputy was killed Tuesday morning when his patrol car rolled down an embankment and flipped into a ditch. He was responding to a report of a drunken driver brandishing a gun. The officer, a five year veteran of the sheriff's office was alone in the car and was not wearing a seat belt.

A Utah woman died from injuries she suffered Sunday when the car she was riding went out of control and rolled. She and a friend were traveling with a baby. Both her and the friend were ejected from the vehicle. The baby was strapped in a car seat and was uninjured.
